Jan 31, 2012 - great episode!I have a question, though. The curse that Daksh gave to Mahadev obviously didn't work, as people do pray to Mahadev... how come it didn't work? Is it because Mahadev is god, or did the curse get reversed? And how can Daksh curse God?

Jan 31, 2012 - @rajatmugdha4eva it's just like what daksh said. He is Brahma's son he can curse anyone he wishes. As for the curse not working, watch the show cause you will get your answers soon. I don't know about you but I found this plot of Daksh's quite petty. All this while I thought he might be upto something really dreadfully spooky but this is soooooooooooooooo pettyyyyyyyyyy ! I thought he might have some boon to trap Mahadev as a stonr or in some sort of field etc.

Feb 1, 2012 - Danu...the mother of danavas married to Kashyap. It's like i said there is a huge controversy regarding this fact. Different books represent different versions. No one can figure out which is the truth unless logic is put into use.

Feb 1, 2012 - good question. the puranas state the existence of the tridev in a separate manner. Vishnu purana states that first Lord Vishnu was born, out of his navel bloomed a lotus flower from which came Brahma. Lord Vishnu's power is said to have taken the form of Mahadev. Hence, the tridev. Brahma gave birth to Manasputras popularly known as Narada, Daksha, The Saptarishis etc.
