Feb 23, 2010 - It makes a large difference what kind of pad you wear. I'm wearing old school Brian's beast pads right now and have been for many years. I will be going to a more traditional butterfly pad this time with Vaughn v4 vintage 35+1. Don't forget pads do shrink over years and they get watered down. If i were to go with Rbk pads i would go with 35 inch pads and that's it. I have been playing goalie my hole life and have a lot of experience so if you have any questions, just leave me a message.

Apr 4, 2010 - I don't know much about the diffrence from the the reg 7400 and the slw's, but but the slw is alot lighter. You should try both on if possible though.

May 4, 2010 - ive had Simmons for a year and i love them. for the price and everything i think they are well worth it. this is all my opinion but i find them lighter and much more comfortable then the v3s right off the bat.
