May 12, 2012 - The drummer spends most of his time not head banging; but fighting his hair xD
TheTml2001 Says:
May 15, 2012 - it sounds good fast
richardbrenkley Says:
May 16, 2012 - Sounds too fast

May 17, 2012 - Dave's been doing that for years, man.

May 20, 2012 - That was f'ing incredible live! Amazing performance to open up their careers on a national stage. They took the impossible "smashing pumpkins" guitar layering and actually pulled in off 'live' unlike the the pumpkins who had a very difficult time translating that 'layering effect' in a concert setting.
jehadsound Says:
May 21, 2012 - Nah, it's pretty evident that he likes them. It's really obvious when he doesn't like something. If you see the Panic Switch performance he really seems to get excited about them. But if you watch him talk with most rappers or pop acts after they are done, he just kind of laughs and smiles.
dufortrph Says:
May 21, 2012 - Agreed. When Letterman does not like something, he makes it pretty fucking clear. He really seemed to this performance -- which was pretty epic, IMHO.
MrRustyfox Says:
May 22, 2012 - thats how a drummer SHOULD drum!
TeaTimeForWhales Says:
May 23, 2012 - They have to play it that way due to TV time, so they cut the intro and most of the jam at the end. It's a six minute song put into four, but they still play like fucking champs.

May 24, 2012 - Pumpkins for sure and who cares about David and Paul? Like either know anything current.I watch this and think: effects guy, okay, go away and lose the gut and shave. I can't remember the bass woman, so mechanical, can we get a shiny Mac to play bass for us that displays polar bears? My PS3 plays bass. So, that leaves us our creator and drummer, both awesome performers. Listen to the Jared103 for the real deal. I can't care about Dave or Paul unless they make me laugh.

May 24, 2012 - Playing like champs for sure. It's a shame though, the song really doesn't sound as good this fast. The TV channel should have given them an extra couple of minutes :)

May 24, 2012 - He seemed to really like when the Gaslight Anthem performed, had em back soon after.
