Jul 10, 2011 - I c a lot of MMA thugs think that Traditonal Karate is not practical. You thugs need to know you will have no eyes and balls left if you try something like take down against real Karateka. Because ,In real combat, they can rip your nose, ear and throat, kick to your supporting knee, grown so many things if you try to BJJ hug him. You see how often lowblow easily occur in MMA? Yet, the referee saves you. But against real karateka who does hundreds front kicks everyday aiming ur groin, u'd b dead

Aug 8, 2011 - Hi i have studied Shotokan since i was 3 and know i am 32, i recently met a man at the NEC martial arts show who trains in Okinawan Karate...i was very impressed by what i saw and the Katas i practised with him, its always refreshing to train in different types of martial arts. I think if you are watching Kata you have to visualise the opponent attacking him. Katas have a great meaning to them and train the mind well. No such thing as a bad Martial art just bad teacher(s)Thanks for Video.

Aug 14, 2011 - True power of masters traditional karate and kobudo...excellent stuff.

Aug 16, 2011 - Don't forget, they're taught that techniques like that are unpractical and very dishonorable. They're sport fighters, so of course they wouldn't know what real fighting was. And they think the only practical MA in the world is Brazilian Jujutsu because, "Why would I stand and fight when i can tackle you and break your arm, haha yuk yuk XD?" Not realizing someone WILL smash them in the head with a brick as they attempt too. But then again, they're sport fighters.

barrettokarate Says:

Sep 5, 2011 - Look up Federacion Madrilena de Karate, World Karate Federation, Shotokan Honbu Dojo, or Real Federacion Espanola de Karate, they should have information about karate schools in Madrid. I don't know how good the schools are, that's for you to find out personally. Hope this information helps.

Shrumins Says:

Oct 6, 2011 - Not many people know this but a man killed 50 bulls with his bare hands using none other than Karate.

bryanzellar Says:

Oct 19, 2011 - All BS aside as far as Karate goes or MMA goes. To all of those who think this is American Karate, the karate people can laugh at, you have no clue. This style is the OG, the style you can't find outside Okinawa. This is the style that killed Samurai. This style was designed only for killing and killing fast. It even has a ground game for those Bjj or mma fans. Don't know if this vid is a great example or not, but Okinawan Karate is legit. Just check history if you have any doubts.

Supercucu123 Says:

Nov 27, 2011 - Personally, the loudmouth MMA fighters I met are all talk and no show. Now I have plenty of friends that have gone pro in MMA and they are people I consider competent strong martial artists. Frankly anyone below the pro MMA level, is equal if not worse than any other average martial artist. Now there are exceptions to everything but the reason pro MMA is so successful is that most higher ranked fighters in the octagon are already cream of the crop from their own respective martial arts.

Dec 12, 2011 - I tried that but my undies kept getting all knotted up!

donfanto1 Says:

Dec 19, 2011 - fuck pro mma. have u ever seen underground fights? u need to distinguish sport from the real fight, where ur live is on the stake, not just couple bruises

PrimeOcho Says:

Dec 23, 2011 - Why is everyone always arguing about which is more effective. Every martial art is a mixed martial art. None of the old masters stayed completely with there style. Some were influenced by other master in Okinawa, China, etc, check history, MMA is not something new. And if the "traditional" martial artist wanted to get in the cage he would train just as the other fighters. So as martial artist, can we end this debate, and get to one that is real, like who would win Chuck Norris or King Kong?

Dec 31, 2011 - or it could be goju-ryu

tshk5271221 Says:

Jan 19, 2012 - No, man, what are you talking about? It is the most pure, traditional and ancient Karate style called Okinawa Karate. It is the mother of all modern Japanese Karate. Some of the masters' simple wrist hit will literally break your arms or legs.

mater19 Says:

Jan 21, 2012 - Not quite sure what yuo mean but its sounds like you dont really understand ? I am taking okinawan shorin-ryu karate and have a 12 year experience in karate. Now if you state that i am wrong than check an legitmate webpage or martial artists that know the correct linage of styles and were they go. Than i will say you are right.

mater19 Says:

Jan 21, 2012 - And Another thing Japanses Karate and Okinawan karate have very different pholisphies that are clearly different between them.
