Feb 19, 2011 - i was at my citys talent show and one of the acts played this song. they had a guy playing guitar and a guy with a wonderful english accent singing. it was definately the best actBTW i always picture england from hetalia singing this. seriously though. this song makes me really sad for some reason.

While there were a couple albums that were "commercial" she returned to the truth of her art and vision and since then, has not wavered from it. Like Beth Nielsen Chapman, she writes the stories and dreams of her heart, which is, in this current musical atmosphere of glitz and pomp, not what the industry necessarily wants. Neither is a gaga or Madonna, thank the Lord, and that makes them passe. but so much better.

Their music comes from their souls; from a place beyond gender or race. There's nothing contrived or artificial. Both are strong women who live life on their terms, not the expectations of others. And I hope you're right: That "Between The Lines' is rediscovered, for its beauty and honesty.
