Mar 2, 2012 - I have some pretty amazing videos from little known Ko Lipe island here in Thailand where I'm spending 4 months out of my 6 months holiday in Thailand. Apr 5, 2012 - if you wan't to go there and still want to enjoy this nice place get a group together and rent your own longtailboat from phi phi don. start at 5.30am and enjoy it for one hour. at 8 am all the annoying russians, japanese/chinese, and maybe 200 longtail/speed boats will be there...then it's like visiting a nice small palm tree on which 20 people are climbing and taking pictures of themselves!

May 6, 2012 - this is really a nice place. Wished its not really that crowded though. try to check out the Palawan, Philippines, specially El Nido Island. Almost the same atmosphere, but its more of a you and nature thing, secluded and less crowd. My husband and i was there just last March, 2012 and definitely will come back!! Great service too. It was really awesome. Lagen Island Resort and Miniloc Island Resort in El Nido, is definety a place to relax to the max, just you and nature, no fancy stuff etc.

May 7, 2012 - Koh Phi Phi is spectacularly beautiful... but I didn't realise just quite how touristed it'd be, and the fact most tourists seem 20-30 just made it worse, lots of people on their "gap yahs" and big groups of stag parties and Essex girls. Far from what's depicted in The Beach film, there's nothing exclusive about this place anymore... in fact it's disturbingly similar to Aya Napa.

I can't believe that when I made this video back in March 2009 you could beat the tourist rush anytime before 10am..... but now unfortunately you need to be there before 7am as by 8am its packed. Problem before 8am though is there's no sun lighting up the bay for good video shots :/
