May 16, 2012 - it's through the flaws of others that we try to express our superiority, not through any level of personal merit and ability. It is a natural reaction we develop to combat the dread of suffering equal fates as those who die or get disfigured or rapes and other fates. (many less severe, but you get the point) It unfortunately isnt limited to these situations and is also used to filter the weak in society and push them away from our own, possibly because undesirable traits are believed genetic?
