Jan 18, 2012 - untrue. it was the police who provoked the residents,coming armed and in full battle gear,with a water cannon and a bulldozer. if you have read the captions,this video happened after another video. clear in these two videos that the residents are unarmed, and they were just standing their ground, til they fought back.there was also no negotiations.the police also fired teargas.they just came there to tear down houses.you should try to put yourself in their shoes

Jan 19, 2012 - The local government was not open to negotiate anymore. The local government's position is to demolish the homes. The residents offered three alternatives, maintain houses, reblocking or in city relocation. The local government is only open to their option. I guess, this is why it led to this. Anybody you would tell you will destroy their home will feel this angry, inside or vent it outward.
