She was such a wonderful person. I sure miss you Mom.

May 5, 2011 - I had four brothers after we had grown up and moved away when my mom heard this song she would cry. I think because she knew this is how we all felt about her. We also played this at her funeral when she passed away 2 years ago. I miss her but listening to this I remember her doing all these things. I don't think it's possible to ever repay a mother for what she does.

Aug 23, 2011 - I read this poem at my Mothers 75th birthday party. When I was done there wasn't a dry eye in the room... even my brothers were wiping their tears. I had to stop three times because I got all choked up myself. This is one powerful poem. May the good Lord bless you Jimmy Dean.

All I can say is that regardless of "frustrations" we might have with our parents - we have to remember them and appreciate them while they are living, because we will miss them so when they are gone. I am glad J.Dean captured these thoughts so well, I can't listen to it without getting choked up either. Nov 29, 2011 - - next Monday marks the 2 year anniversary in which my mom passed away... I have been thinking about her of course but also exactly what you just said... we get angry at people, we get frustrated and don't want to be around them - people that we should care about... it is hard to see the things we love in people sometimes... this is how it was with my mom, she drove me nuts... but I would do anything to see her and hug her... the ones we love won't always be around :(
