Nov 24, 2011 - pretty high on final there...forward slip...nose to the right (when he said left wing into the wind...) and right rudder...get that baby on the runway quick. before it runs out.

Nov 27, 2011 - @diegoXm94 This airport has been closed, sold to a developer about a year and a half now.
caseyjones2222 Says:
Nov 27, 2011 - @lilkid91 This airport is an "uncontrolled" airport. So you basically announce what you are doing on the unicom frequency for that field. Unicom frequencies as well as others are on the navigation maps and airport directories. Proper radio communication is taught in primary training.

Dec 10, 2011 - Which way is the easiest to line up with the runway during takeoff and landing? Does one use instruments to line up or is it accomplished with "feeling"?
gerry7man555 Says:
Dec 13, 2011 - crash in the grass
44lucas Says:
Dec 14, 2011 - @zim01001 its all eye and stick & rudder. You line it up on final and work the rudder to keep it straight, adjust power and once you know you will reach runway, you go off power completly (though that depends on what you're flying)

Dec 18, 2011 - What I usually do keep the center line, flare out, pull the nose up, throttle back 60 knts, vertical speed indicator 300 fpm. Works like a charm. Flying is fun.
