Title: Beyond Conspiracy - Kennedy assassination
Added: Feb 1, 2008
Author: davidemerling
Duration: 10:31
Description:
A few clips from the documentary "The Kennedy Assassination - Beyond Conspiracy" ABC aired this program in 2003, the 40th anniversary of the shooting. It was hosted by Peter Jennings. In my opinion, it supports the most logical (as supported by evidence) view - that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in assassinating President John Kennedy on November 22, 1963.

May 27, 2012 - @abennett4 Correcting your lies and mischatacterizations: 1) It's no crime to leave work and go home. 2) He did NOT change clothes, Wes Frazier and officer Baker say he arrested wearing the same clothes he worked in. 3) He got his revolver, which was NEVER ballistically linked as the Tippit murder weapon. 4) Last I checked, people enter a movie theatre all the time, even after the flick starts. Not exactly a sign of criminal behavior...

May 27, 2012 - Yes. Smartalek65, you are right - it IS an insult to the Apes. So, maybe we should pin a note to abennett4's kindergarten jacket, apologizing to them. I'm certain that an ape can read better than abennett4, and I am absolutely certain that an ape would know better than to accept testimony from Bugliosi or Posner. Lincoln was right, but only people like abennett4 can be fooled by lies such as were told in those trash-publications.
FreeSpeechSmuggler Says:
May 27, 2012 - Why do people want to vindicate a misfit punk like Oswald. He was seen by his former landlady on the bus after he fled the shooting who said he looked like a maniac, which is consistent with the psychological distress of someone with a guilty conscience to murder. After fifty years with no one else credibly implicated in the plot, so the conspiracy theorists should just get off it.
smartalek65 Says:
May 27, 2012 - @FreeSpeechSmuggler Why do people want to hang him for something he didn't do? He was many things I disapprove of (a Marxist, for example), but for him to be an assassin, I need proof to believe it
PabloDPena Says:
May 27, 2012 - Another fricken sheep. This guy head about the "jet effect" and is trying to claim that this is a "well known concept in physics". The reality is that Luis Alvarez a notable physicist coined this phrase in order to try and explain how Kennedy's head could move the way it did. He taped melons and shot them and noticed that they move SLIGHTLY backwards. But there is also a GIGANTIC backsplatter absent in the z-film and kennedy's head is THROWN back and to the left. It's called RATIONALIZATION.
PabloDPena Says:
May 27, 2012 - And please don't assume everybody believes conspiracy because of the movie "JFK". I knew more about the JFK assassination BEFORE the movie came out than Oliver Stone probably does NOW. It had absolutely no affect on my thinking. It's an entertaining movie and I"m glad he made it since it opened people's eyes but it's not a documentary and has a lot of erroneous information. Nonetheless you'd be pretty stupid to believe the official story.
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - the official weight given is 1500 ,mclellend said having examined the head "I mentioned in such a way that you could actually look down into the skull cavity itself and see that probably a THIRD OR SO, AT LEAST, of the brain tissue, posterior cerebral tissue and some of the cerebellar tissue had been blasted out "a third of 1500 = 1000 .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "Don't sell yourself short. It seems to me that nearly EVERYTHING that suggests this murder was not a conspiracy you consider a "work of fiction". i repeat "i believe im a reasonable person so im willing to accept anything if all the evidence supports it"
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "The problem with Posner's book is not his conclusions, rather, his misrepresentation about how some of the research was HIS when, in fact, he was plagiarizing other people's work"david i could care less about the plagiarizing thats the least of the problems with posner ,its the methods he employed which are the problem he omits /twists /distorts /and basicly lie .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "A classic example of that (one of HUNDREDS) is the "mysterious death" of witnesses - an absolutely ridiculous notion that even the originator of this factoid has admitted is inaccurate"carefull david your starting to sound like mcadams ,as for mysterious deaths well there have been some but when it comes to this case the only deaths really that interest me or the those of the late president and officer tippit .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "There was pieces of bullet "all over" Connally, trapped inside his wrist and thigh, and yet, CE399 was missing less than 3 grains of lead"david sorry you will have to clarify what your saying here because you speak of connally and wrist fragments and then you talk about jfks brain ,so im not understanding what the two have to do with each other other than the obvious .

May 27, 2012 - Like your video, I'd like to post my original song and video "Too Many Lies" to support it. Thanks! Clay
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "You think it means it was somebody else's brain. Laughable."im happy to let people reading decide for them selves whats laughable or not ."1500 grams falls within the normal range for a person of Kennedy's age"formalin can have 2 differing effects on the brain depending on the concentration ,do you know what these effects are ?.
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "Why do people want to vindicate a misfit punk like Oswald"its not about trying to exonerate oswald its simply about getting at the truth ,if that truth is oswald is guilty then so be it ."He was seen by his former landlady on the bus"she claimed he wore a shirt but atleast 4 witnesses before during and after the bus trip frazier/ jones/mcwatters /whalley all say the man they saw wore a jacket ,should we believe the uncorroberated bledsoe and not believe these 4 corroberating witnesses?.
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "Smartalek and others are more interested in arguing than anything else"i think thats a little harsh ,smartalek like yourself and all who post on this thread has added much inportant info to this thread. also in abennetts defence he has been posting here a long time and his posts can be seen throughout this thread ,so i cant see how he hijacked it .the brain is an important piece of evidence but its only one of many important pieces of evidence .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "Everyone of Bugliosi's pieces of evidence that summarizes Oswald's guilt are fully documented and footnoted and are incontrovertabe"presumably youve forgetten my ample rebuttals of many of them .for any one interested read back along the pages of this thread and you will see the so called 53 pieces of evidence and my replies to them .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "FLEED?!?! Take a break, Lunatic, and get yourself a spellchecker! What is 'abennet4'? Answer - something to wipe on and flush. What a dolt! "no offence but can we debate the evidence without resorting to personal attacks ? ,in fairness to david and the other guys on here we all try to debate in a civil manner .i dont think any one has a problem with a bit of sarcasm but personal attacks are neither needed or wanted .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "10-part HBO series based on Reclaiming History and produced by Tom Hanks"presumably tom will be repeating false statments by bugliosi such as 1/ oswald claimed he ate with jarmin (false)2/ there was no cleaning of the limo while at parklands (false)3/ there are no statments by anyone relating to the limo being cleaned (false)i think ill give that documentary a miss and read kings 22/11/63 it will probably contain less fiction .
fobrien1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - "Since the brain was never weighed before the assassination"the brain was extracted and placed in formalin for about a week ,where upon it was weighed and its weight was 1500 grams . formalin has 2 effects on the brain do you know what these effects are ? .
adrahaxxen Says:
May 27, 2012 - Everybody knows Oswald was the shooter, but who told him to kill kennedy and who told him where to be and when to do it....Oswald knows and that's why Ruby was sent to kill him and now there's nobody left to tell unless one of the conspirator's confesses...The CIA commissioned the shooting...end of story.
blindedby2monkeys Says:
May 27, 2012 - this is the beast argument for the jfk murder i have ever heard - watch?v=kPotKe1GPU8not convinced they are capable of doing it? ahem*, well , behold - watch?v=GD_vwzjdTi4
FreeSpeechSmuggler Says:
May 27, 2012 - There is nothing novel or mysterious about witnesses often giving conflicting or contradictory accounts of an event. You mention the term "truth". In my experience, despite the empirical truth of any given thing, in the end, if some people are determined to stand reality on its head, there's nothing to be done except to scratch your head and keep walking. On Kennedy's assassination, it is not the conspiracies which have stood the test of time, it's the findings of the Warren Commission.
U83R8UDDH4 Says:
May 28, 2012 - Back and to the left. Back and to the left. Back and to the left... Exit wound was in back of JFK's cranium. I'm certain you believe the magic bullet theory as well

smartalek65 Says:
May 27, 2012 - @abennett4 The only way you can declare Oswald the assassin is through mischaracterizations as he "fled" TSBD, picked up his revolver; and lies about him changing clothes, murdering officer Tippit, and saying his revolver is the Tippit murder weapon. Remember, this is 1963 Dallas-young Texans often packed a handgun then. He didn't change clothes, or murder Tippit (physical evidence). Your using innuendo based on falsehoods.
