Jan 2, 2012 - the upload is not working. I've followed all the codes and its orientation.. but the upload seemed erroneous. It says problem with the upload. The query for the INSERT INTO tablename is not working properly and everytime I check the database, no data was uploaded.

Jan 21, 2012 - man its nor working. when I write the part checking if you sent something it never shows the content of the image. it just shows me "no file chosen " and the script "error_reporting(E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);" is not solving the problem, its just ignoring it. when i open the site in my browser it does not fix it!!!

PktMma Says:

Mar 9, 2012 - can you help me with this error after doing all you've done from part one to part two?.."Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in C:\xampp\htdocs\acme_corp1\discussion_file\building_a_cms\hrefselected\index.php on line 39"

MelvinSF Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - It's a shame that so many people think surpressing errors is an actual solution to a problem. That's considered very bad practice. Even E_NOTICEs are considered actual programming errors.I think the proper solution to the undefined index problem would be (saves you a line of code, too):if ( ! isset($_FILES['image']) { echo 'Please select an image.';} else { $image = file_get_contents...}Also, addslashes() is insecure for SQL escaping, use mysql_real_escape string() instead.

thmsl89 Says:

Mar 27, 2012 - code:$file= $_FILES['image']['tmp_name'];cannot be run with this command:Undefined index: image in C:\xampp\htdocs\databaseimage\index.php on line 18
