Feb 28, 2011 - Not many people are aware that during WW11 Maurice was in Paris doing a little entertaining . Most weeks he would drop into 4, Place de la Madelaine Paris which on the surface was a music publisher, Durand & Co . However, in the upstairs loft there was a long wave antenna over 18 feet long ,and this could be whipped up and down very quickly in order to transmit information over the water to Albion where the Lion awaited. Maurice was awarded decorations by both Countries. .jannarta.
