Didn't connect it. I knew that it's one of the regions of the brain destroyed in a lobotomy. Seems Western medicine decided that strong emotions were not to be tolerated in people deemed to be "insane". A very arbitrary powertrip with long reaching consequences. These videos teach the pineal as also psychic, empathic, telepathic.

Maybe a good exercise would be like the relaxation technique of tensing the muscles, so you can feel what it's like going up, then feel it going down. Kind of like a volume knob, if you know which way to turn it so the volume, tension, or empathic reception increases you then know how to turn it DOWN. How to shield yourself from negative psychic signals, I guess.
