Apr 25, 2012 - What really gets to me is how they just ruined the show by making everything CGI (If that's what it is). The use of models is what made the classic series stand out from another. I too watched episodes of the classic series as a kid, and thank god I wasn't born too late to experience it. I'm 13 now, and the new series is just... so dissappointing. Also, Ringo Starr. Best. May 27, 2012 - I kow it's a children's show for a *ahem* 'modern' audience, but surely the writing could be stronger. Like, oh, when it was good many years ago. Seriously? Repeated overuse of phrases; buffer to buffer, an idea flew into his funnel? The infamous 'confusion and delay'? I'm not so bothered by the change in animation, series have to adapt after a number of years I suppose. But it is done no favours by the dull, repetitious writing.
