May 15, 2012 - I don't get it. This was just like the original true grit from 1969. Most of the dialogue was exactly the same. The only differences are the actors are different, and the ending is different. So what is it about this movie that people thought was so great. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, i'm just saying it's not as amazing as people say. I guess if you have never sen the original you would like it.

Because while I have been religious all my life there is nothing stopping me from knowing what is and isn't possible. I frequently take the scientific method above any christian one.
