I'm not into burberry, techno or tracksuits, but I grew up with a few "Chav" mates and to be honest they're no different to me besides talking and dressing a bit more urban style. Some Chavs turn out nicest people you could meet, especially as they get older. I can't understand the superiority complex some people have over Chavs. Just because some act antisocial doesn't mean you can lump them together.

May 17, 2012 - It's kind of the polar opposite of "Emo". A Chav is stereotypically a working-class kid who usually dress in sports clothes, baseball caps etc. Chavs have a reputation for being roughneck types, but in reality not all of them fit the stereotypes. It's just kind of another way of categorizing people or first impressions style thing.
