Feb 8, 2012 - Whether Coldplay stole the melody or not (despite what they claim), I think it's fair to say that just because the songs sound similar doesn't mean one is better or one is worse. They both are very different styles and convey separate expressions.When looking at music, one has to look past melody. If all that was ever looked at was the melody, we could sit here all day talking about bands "stealing" melodies from other bands. Just enjoy the songs for what they are! :)
