Jan 29, 2012 - - I agree! He is the light at the end of mine as well. Malcolm was a treasure and I studied his life for many years and was so impressed by his ability to continue to learn and grow. Malcolm was not ashamed to express his mistakes and what he had learned from them. The man is a philosopher. Even though he died before I was born, it is always refreshing to see him in action this way...filled with knowledge and truth!

Feb 28, 2012 - The world would be a different place today if Malcolm X was still alive. The lies and deceit still exist in today's world, its just gone undercover. In those days it was more visible.

Mar 16, 2012 - This is a GREAT piece of history and I'm proud it was from a Canadian broadcast back in '65.The CBC truly is a great staple of Canadian culture... I really hope Dicatator Harper is stopped in his tracks when he tries to tear down the CBC.
TomLuTon Says:
Mar 17, 2012 - Just to clarify: This is the interview that Alex Haley mentions in the Epilogue of Malcolm X's autobiography"On January 19, Malcolm X appeared on the Pierre Berton television show in Canada..."Haley go the name of the show wrong. Pierre Berton was one of the hosts, he's the one who starts speaking at 2:50

AtomicHephaestus Says:
Mar 26, 2012 - Malcolm was a true advocate for Islam and makes me proud to be a Muslim. He is 100% right.. Muslims believe in peace and brotherhood of ALL people. Please don't judge us on the actions of a few.. look at the bulk of our history and you'll see that Muslims by in large sheltered and lived with Jews and Christians in peace.. even though the same courtesy wasn't always extended from the opposite side. Peace and Love.

swiitzerland Says:
Apr 5, 2012 - Maybe you should re-read the koran if you find it promotes peace and love. And don't pick pieces out.
AtomicHephaestus Says:
Apr 5, 2012 - Please don't speak to me as if you have knowledge about Islam. I have studied Islamic history and the religion and it is one that promotes peace. Do you not listen to Malcolm? He's telling you that people of all races and backgrounds are brothers in Islam. Are you saying he's wrong?
swiitzerland Says:
Apr 5, 2012 - Yeah, anyone who tells me that any of the three major religions (solely) promote peace and love and being brothers is wrong.
OutSpokenGamer Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - So any positive conclusion we draw from black religions, that your ancestor destroyed with war and guns is wrong??So what peaceful conclusion do you have Esau?? More war and guns? and lies with your media?? lol

May 6, 2012 - This great man was killed because he discovered what true ISLAM is ,and then came back to america with the truth in his mouth so THEY did what theve always done and tried to extinguish the light of the tuth, listen to this man ,A MAN WHO WAS KILLED FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH
TheMightyUnknown Says:
May 13, 2012 - Totally agree, this man was a real muslim, not like those sick minded people in "Nation of Islam", or al-qaida for that means. I belive that Islam is about being a good person; not be a crazy man who don't respect others because of their color on their skins. This was what Malcolm X understand.
stylezofom Says:
May 13, 2012 - not it was not because of Islam. Malcolm X's goal was not to turn every black man and woman into a muslim.he wanted them to first realize that they are human beings equal to whites or any other race. the blacks had a serious inferiority complex because being slaves for generations.X knew that and therefore removing his last name was symbolic. If he had even succeeded 50%,US would've been different. less ghettos, less criminals, no Lil' Wayne.America wanted to keep blacks down. so they killed him
gulshabbo Says:
May 16, 2012 - Malcolm looked distinguished with facial hair.
sayanroy36 Says:
