I own every LP of Sabbath, Dio, Priest, Behemoth, Nile, Slayer, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc.. and hundreds of other metal cds by various underground and mainstream metal bands. May 22, 2012 - Considering I was raised on Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden, etc. I'd say I've been listening to metal my whole life, getting into more extreme metal about 3-4 years ago, before I knew or even cared about other people listening to it. Gojira's my favorite band (pre-ordering their upcoming album) with the most death core band on my ipod being Winds of Plague and before their last album, had a heavy death and black metal influence. I also don't like Asking Alexandria and most hardcore bands.
