Mar 30, 2012 - This is the best version- perfect blend of voice and interpretation. Too many singers make the mistake of singing this song like a tragedy. Not Barbra- she gets the humor and the light self-deprecation in the lyrics. And ultimately the hope that there is a chance that the estranged relationship can work out. She's just the best ever.

Apr 14, 2012 - LOL LOL Well thanks... I just call it as I see it. My own personal favorite pop singer of the last few decades is Linda Ronstadt. She has a voice that I love- no matter what type of music she is singing. BUT... As much as I admire her singing, I will be the first to admit that she cannot hold a candle to Barbra. I once heard a voice coach state that Linda was miles ahead of most modern POP singers in ability, ect.. but Barbra had a "once in a century" voice. I think that says it all
