Description:
For more satire this political season, like us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ThePartisansComedyhttp://www.facebook.com/TheSecondCityNetworkWritten and Directed by Andy Cobbhttp://www.twitter.com/andycobbProduced by Mike DamanskisPunch ups by: Joshua Funk, Joe Canale, Marc Warzecha, Mike DamanskisIn response, of course, to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PAJNntoRgAIt's hard to tell exactly what Perry was on about in much of this. Honestly, if kids "observed" Christmas any harder in schools than they already do, they would be elves. And liberals don't hate religion, we're too busy drum circling, same sex marrying, and not owning guns to bother. So what was he talking about? He was talking about trying to break double digits in Iowa. And since he's sitting on a big pile of money from people who once thought he was going to be president, it'll be fun to see him thrash about as his campaign gasps for air. But Rick Perry and all other heathen-haters take note: atheists and agnostics are 20 percent of the population and growing--more than African-Americans or Latinos. Add in gays, lesbians, bi and transgender folks, and you not only have a substantial voting block, you have a fucking awesome party. Apr 19, 2012 - Why not the middle east? Why not a carpenter'? Your argument now assumes that scale determines importance. God is not farming us. However, people who farm animals (at least on a small scale) and keep pets or have animals as a hobby(ants, goldfish, birds or whatever) do take a personal interest in their welfare, behavior personalities etc. Also, when we create anything ourselves, we naturally do take a deep personal interest in whatever we created. Scale is irrelevant to both these relationships.

May 7, 2012 - Man, this is why athiest will never get respect from a Christian. All they do is smack talk us. But God will come for judgement day.

dontreply16 Says:

May 8, 2012 - Christians = Brainwashed RapistsMuslims = Brainwashed TerroristsYour whole life has been meaningless dude.

burdenuponsociety Says:

May 8, 2012 - BUT WHEN NOT CHINA? WHY NOT AFRICA? Please stick to the question. If your religion is correct, then generations of people too unfortunate to have been born in the middle east and the west have literally had no chance whatsoever to reach the 'truth'. Why should God care about where you're born or what religion you follow? All of that is irrelevant to what kind of person you are. I can be a good christian if I'm born in england or a good muslim if i'm born in UAE, but why should god care?

MrCbatres Says:

May 8, 2012 - I'm a Christian and I believe there is no room for hate in our Religion..So I say welcome everyone just as Jesus did and if they don't believe who gives a flying fuck they are still human beings.

allan30000 Says:

May 9, 2012 - Christ told his followers to preach the truth all over the earth. So what if He only visited Israel? Even some living people in Israel could have missed his message. Besides, God had already supplied His message a couple of thousand years before, to Abraham and then the Israelites. He gave it to the first two people He created, so all following generations had a chance to hear it through them. For all we know, He did tell people in other parts of the world at some time.

allan30000 Says:

May 9, 2012 - God cares what religion you follow because some religions are created by men, not God, and He wants you to follow the one he created Himself, not what some other man tells you to follow. Understand the difference.

slaktarfisken Says:

May 9, 2012 - well i'm aslo thinking about crusaiders and stuff

slaktarfisken Says:

May 9, 2012 - I really like people trying to threaten non-believers into believing, with phrases such as: "god will come for judgement day" and "you will burn in hell" and I don't understand why they try.I mean sure it worked in the medieval ages and the only knowledge people had came from the bible. But to day people have a little bit more sense and intelligence then the ordinary medieval man.and why would you even bother to be scared by something you do not even believe in...

slaktarfisken Says:

May 9, 2012 - so god cares more about a murdering christian than a saintly hidu?

allan30000 Says:

May 9, 2012 - I said that God expects people to follow his religion. If a Christian murdered somebody, that would not be following God's religion. Whether God loves the Christian despite that, or loves the Hindu despite not following God's religion, is another matter.

burdenuponsociety Says:

May 9, 2012 - Answer the damn question! It's a fact that what religion you follow isn't exactly up to you, but based on your circumstances. If you're born in 5th century north america, good luck trying to be christian. Or if you're born in 12th century england, good luck trying to be buddhist. So why should God judge you on something that's not really your choice, but completely dependent on the region/time period you're born in?

allan30000 Says:

May 10, 2012 - Lighten up and relax. God does not necessarily require one to be a Christian to be one of His people. Wherever you are in the world, in whatever time, you can be a believer and a follower. Everybody always has a choice, whatever religion he is taught, and whether or not he has read the Bible. Many people in Christian countries don't believe or follow it, so obviously the main religion of one's country and time isn't what decides one's own religion.

burdenuponsociety Says:

May 14, 2012 - Sure it is. How can you be a christian in 5th century india? Or a muslim in china during the middle ages? You can't possibly, that's the point. Even now, there's places in the world where people have never heard of Christianity. Why would God put all his teachings into a religion that not everyone will have the opportunity to learn about? Seems kind of unfair.

burdenuponsociety Says:

May 15, 2012 - Can you answer the bloody question!? What if they NEVER get a bible? What if the place and time they live in never even gets word about Jesus? Because as I recall, that's just about 90% of the places in the world prior to the 1700s. Why the hell did God start his religion in the middle-east when it'll automatically mean that generations of people living in other places will never get the 'holy message'? Please just tell me how you can become a christian in 2nd century China.

allan30000 Says:

May 17, 2012 - If there were no God, that would be true. But if God wants to get through to somebody, He can and he will. He got through to Israel, physically, so he can get through to a bushman in Africa or a Hindu in India. True religion is not about the names and labels and scriptures used to communicate it, it just is what it is. If a Christian got stranded thousands of miles from civilization without a Bible, two days after first hearing about Christianity and converting, he would still be a Christian.

allan30000 Says:

May 17, 2012 - They don't necessarily need a Bible. God can tell them some other way. They don't even necessarily have to know about Jesus. People who lived and died before Jesus came to Earth didn't know about him either, except from prophecies. but they could still be saved. People who lived before Moses or Abraham could still be saved.God told many of us through the Bible. He can tell us in other ways as well. If He wants people to know, they will know.

IBeanOverlord Says:

May 20, 2012 - we should elect a person for their religion, elect someone who has the interest of the people at heart and is able to make compromises, that and hopefully someone who isn't a lunitic which is what we seem to be doing
