Apr 23, 2012 - You are so right , but it would be really fine any way. I saw Mr Reed sing September Song in concert ( 40's old classic) sung by crooners like Sinatra , and it was like a total shift in mode , and so well sung , I cried. I think it was about timing and nuance . Some people hear the meaning in a song , and it just comes out a diffferent flavor ....not better , just fresh . I've seen Jonothan R. 5 times live ,he's so wonderful . He is a great musician , and a sight for sore eyes too ! .

May 16, 2012 - I had the Modern Lovers vinyl album but this (FANTASTIC) song wasn't included.I only dicovered this on a Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers cd album which I downloaded.It contains a few (I think three) fantastic additions.

May 21, 2012 - The Real Kids started in about 1972 or 73 but didn't record until 77. John Felice and Jonathan Richman grew up together in MA, and Felice was actually in the first version of the Modern Lovers but never recorded with them. Both great, great bands.

May 24, 2012 - ok this song frikkin rules......and im only so sad the i wasnt an original lover of this when it was first released and that I needed to hear it in som flick that came out like 6 years ago but had I not seen this flick(Addicted To Her Love)......I probably would still not know about this work of pure genius!.......have to admit that I originally thought this was The Velvet Underground upon first listen......going to check out some Modern Lovers now! bye
