Oct 28, 2011 - This is a great post. Time lapse is so cool!I wish the engineers had performed an experiment to see if it was a rickety as they said. To knock down three lanes to build two does not make sense.
GManNickG Says:
Oct 28, 2011 - It does when those three lanes are likely to kill people.

Oct 28, 2011 - Bye bye to one of the best driving views of mountains, sea and city. Glad I got to see it before the horrific views to come.

Oct 28, 2011 - How is seattle traffic these days? I havent made it across the water since this happened.
BMickey13 Says:
Oct 30, 2011 - Horrific views?! The Seattle waterfront is actually going to be a nice place now without that crumbing POS there. Who cares if your view is gone? Pay more attention to your driving. Tunnel is going to be 10X better than the viaduct.

Nov 1, 2011 - much like watching the demolition of the Elwha dams, really interesting to see how quickly such things can disappear.
