Apr 21, 2012 - Sony has been suffering for a while on it's home electronics. The Korean companies (LG & Samsung) have been eating it's food for a while. The Playstation came in way under projections - so Sony had not been doing well long before the earthquake. they just announced last week they are laying off 10k employees.

The Wii-U won't be even close to the power of the next generation Xbox and PS4 that are going to be released in 2013, but they will still offer the best gameplay experience for the broadest age range and options that are going to put them at the top again, especially in regard to pricing. Most wont pay $500 for a console, but $300 they may. I own several hundred shares of NTDOY, so I'm betting on it.

All there are are rumors and speculations, nothing more. The PS3 is the very first Sony system to outperform Nintendo's very first weak system -- the Wii -- so, how can you be so sure that Sony will do the same thing with the PS4? You sure that they will make another expensive system just to outperform the Wii U even if it won't make much difference?

Apr 22, 2012 - How do you know that Sony will do the same thing as the PS3? Why would a company that had a lot of sales loss from their mistake of an expensive system do the same thing? Sony is on their fifth red right now, so it's not an option to make another expensive system just to outperform another system if the difference won't be too significant. Why not just upgrade the PS3, which will lower the cost of manufacturing, etc., but with a tablet controller? Have you ever thought of that? Tell me.

Apr 29, 2012 - I think Sony might pull off a Nintendo Wii and make the next system slightly underpowered than the previous gen and also have more processing power because they did say they would spend a whole lot of money on the next gaming console because of the massive loss of money thanks to the bad marketing of the PS Vita. So really yeah, it could be either a down graded PS3 with cheaper parts or a underpowered next gen console

Apr 29, 2012 - Thanks for letting me know, for some reason I thought I'd read that the next Sony and Microsoft consoles would be released in 2013. If they are waiting until 2016, then we will definately see the Wii-U blow the rest of the market away with it's capabilities and options that overshadow the other current consoles while providing something new and fresh.
