Like him or hate him Bush not only had approval for Iraq war but he had more congressman vote for his war then his father did. Also, Obama said he voted against Iraq war. This was a lie. Apr 1, 2012 - Wasn't he referring to a continuing resolution? Even at that, you are right, he voted present when his opinion was asked. You and I seem to be in agreement about this issue. The War Powers act was written to address immediate and imminent danger. Libya did not present that, he was just going along with the body that he wants to hand real power over too, the UN. Bush had as close to a consensus as you can get with Iraq and Afghanistan.

Apr 5, 2012 - Fair enough, what he is pushing is a European hybrid socialism such as what they are discovering in Greece doesn't work. Meaning, he has pushed growth of the entitlement state with a small portion of the public funding it. Adding the fascists element to what he is doing would make it more of a 1930 Germany or Russia style or Argentinean Cuban style, which doesn't seem to be outside the realm of possibility. He can't push the Canadian style because they are too dependent on the US financially.

Apr 5, 2012 - True, I think everyone along the line has committed a misdemeanors, but it also lists Treason which if I read the law correctly is a felony when committed against the office of President. By virtue of that thought every president has committed treason since Lincoln in that they have passed laws and taken actions in contradiction to the constitution.
