May 23, 2012 - Naah, that was an excuse but not the real cause, the fact is war was coming sooner or later, it always has and always will... just try to enjoy the intermissions

May 23, 2012 - Timeless music for all generations to enjoy! Loved these guys as a teenager, they still sound awesome 30+ years later... They don't make music like this anymore, anywhere!

TheGraphitte Says:

May 23, 2012 - The disco inferno took place in a stadium in Michigan or Wisconsin where everyone that hated disco brought their albums to be burned. It was a huge fire...

SWalkerTTU Says:

May 23, 2012 - It was the trigger event. However, you're probably right in that a war was eventually going to happen -- but mostly because the people in charge were very deeply mistaken about a number of things.

Drainstormer Says:

May 24, 2012 - I'm 1000% sure they consumed a smaller dune made of cocaine during these year but you know what? I don't care because meanwhile they made music like this!

May 27, 2012 - sorry if this is obvious to others, but is that Steve Martin on keyboards????

duqueblanc Says:

May 27, 2012 - year?

CCRider100 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Yep, music is very much created as a product of its time period. In order to create new pop / rock songs that are of the same "stand the test of time" quality as 60's or 70's, you would need to recreate the attitude and culture of the 60's and 70's. For better or worse that will not happen.

Nat4Brendan Says:

May 27, 2012 - Nice.

AIC4life47 Says:

May 27, 2012 - You hear that over yonder?? That's the Soul train coming around the mountain

camlpg Says:

May 28, 2012 - No, Steve Martin was a one man band back in those days and he played the banjo(still does).
