Mar 7, 2012 - Hi Nick,Beautiful footage! I'm shooting underwater fishing videos for my channel ,but I can't get the real colors. I'm shooting in 60-180ft but due to the set-up I use , I can't use lights. Is there a software program that would help him restore some of the natural colors?

Mar 7, 2012 - There are lots of programs that can be used for colour correction, such as NLE's like Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas. However there is a good chance that all or nearly all of the red has gone, in which case it can't be restored and you can only improve the footage by balancing the remaining blue and green. If you can't use lights then try using a blue-water filter, which is a red/orange colour. But even that won't work when you get to about 100ft.
