So of you're trying to make a point that Rome's downfall was their iron fisted mentality then i guess you're right but America's motives are different. Parthians claimed ancestory from Cyrus the great and the achaemenid Persians, they also spoke a middle-Persian pahlavi driven language, a dialect of Persian. They were not defeated by the toorks or anyone else, the Sassanian/Sassanid Persians, another Persian ruling family overthrew the Parthians and started fighting rome again. The turkic tribes were obiterated by the Persian sassanids, search up on the wars and casualties.

May 15, 2012 - i am a star wars fan boy, and will get crap from others that are, but I think this movie is better then all the star wars movies, probably the best movie of all time, way better then the 300 movie.

May 15, 2012 - I love star wars too. Always have. Don't think 300 is bad though. It just has a simple plot, good vs. evil. But I absolutely love Gladiator because it has a great story, and back round stories. You also love each character. That's why Gladiator is my favorite movie. it has action, romance, story, and what am I forgeting......oh yeah EPICNESS!

May 24, 2012 - immortals was way too muc computer work, the whole geography was stiff and the actors were really under trained, 300 was great, the actors did a lot on their own, nice story, nice dialogues and adrenaline rush, gladiator was a masterpiece, a civilised sametime raw story, good acting, great music as well
