That's the beauty of it-it evokes so many emotions, stirs the soul, and helps to define moments in time. R.E.M. touched a lot of people, and Belong is an example of why. It stands the test of time.

It's hard to put single definitive reason to love these albums into words, but the cumulative effect of the individual tracks of both albums, with such differing sounds from song to song, is that they leave me feeling better than before I heard them.

Within that year decades of horror came to an end with my parents' arrest and even though years have passed my sister and I still say it each other from time to time. TCJTB.
