Oct 12, 2010 - Is that Lana Turner at 4:17? I had never seen that photo --- it was a very young Lana if it's her. This video is very well made, but it made me sad. These were before my time but I've always been an hollywood glamour films fanatic. The essense of romance was so wonderful from that time. Thank God for whoever was smart enough to develop film making.

Jan 4, 2011 - This is very well done. I love John Barry's music and this music is especially poignant as he lost both his mother and father while he was composing it for the motion pic "Somewhere In Time." You are moved emotionally by his work. Thank you for sharing your word.

Mar 22, 2011 - This was a time when elegance and class was the norm! morality was strictlyenforced socially. True talent was exspected of a actor or actress, and the fashionswere totally beautiful with great lines and becoming colors. This era may never beagain.

Oct 19, 2011 - thank you for beginning with anna mae wong, and for ending with that great pic of young stanwyck.gene tierney is of another period...leslie howard is totally my type but I always fall for the gilbert roland type. LOL--the music creates quite a mood, it almost makes me believe these people were more important, more interesting than everyday people. reminds me of mahler's adagietto.
