LaserBeam002 Says:
Mar 1, 2012 - Foster Brooks, Dean martin and Sammy were never the big drinkers they portrayed themselves to be. Especially Foster Brooks. He came from an alcholic family and swore to never touch the stuff. Dean martin said all those time the audience saw him drinking it was actually some type of fruit juice.
MrMrtiki Says:
Mar 1, 2012 - Well they portrayed a booze hound very well still classic`s
FunnyAsARubberCrutch Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - Correct...And Dean drank Martinelli's APPLE juice!!! Dean was once approached in a restaurant by some woman who wanted his autograph- and asked him if he really drank THAT MUCH??? Dean replied, " Do you think NBC would spend 45 Million dollars a year on a drunk?" End of story!

Apr 8, 2012 - Roasts before roasts were cool
thegreenerthemeaner Says:
Apr 16, 2012 - Roasts are not cool any more. They are foul drivel compared to these artists. They displayedvthe elements of comedy that today's "comics" can't comprehend save a very rare few. Thesae were the masters and never again can they be repeated, mostly because of audience inability to recognize comedic genius.
slimdude2011 Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - I agree with you 100%! These were the good ole days, when real comedy were performed by real comedians, without continually using excessive profanity, overly saturated sexual innuendos, and raunchy explicit materials like the so-called comedians of today.

Jan 30, 2011 - Ok ... understand. I guess we should be grateful to see this much. With regards to sharpening, it's possible to clean a few things up. The sound is probably the main thing needing attention. BTW, is there anyone out there that can possibility access another source somehow? ... as it's a bit harder from here in downunder oz.
