Mar 21, 2012 - Hmmm,perhaps my memory is failing me,but I don't believe Krang originated in the comics- Perhaps they were trying to 'meet in the middle' with the movies by blending elements of the comics and cartoon? And the first movie was definately not targeted at little kids. I remember trying to watch it once,and Raph swore so much in the first minute that my father shooed me away. But I agree with you- a live action Krang,especially as done by Jim Henson's shop,would have been freaky
