May 25, 2011 - man, great explanation. So many 3s, cs etc. I was about to say in my head "plus c-3po"

Jul 9, 2011 - Just what I was looking for.. only I use matrices instead of adding/subtracting the equations as shown.

Sep 22, 2011 - You should really have used Matrices in this video... Damn that was a lot of C's :P

Oct 12, 2011 - what's the program that he uses for the video? im kind of sick of using paint for this kind of stuff

Oct 31, 2011 - it's not a "program". He is using a "pen tablet"

Dec 5, 2011 - I always like to imagine that its Obama teaching me this b/c he kinda sounds like him, especially when he says 'independent'

Mar 17, 2012 - I dont understand how you would get a non linearly independent set pf vectors....like obviously if you multiply everything by 0 its gonna give the 0 vector, thats obvious from the the start....
barakelhowells Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - Everyone uses matrices. This is like the maths behind the operations. It's perfect this way... trust me.
SuPahPetaa Says:
Apr 23, 2012 - you can also prove that the C's exist for abc by determining if the determinant of the C's are not equal to zero. if it is, then it does not span R3
rzink92 Says:
May 15, 2012 - when you set up the vectors and solve the matrice, you should get the identity matrix which has no rows of zeros. for example ->1 3 4 ------------->1 0 02 3 5 -> RRE -> 0 1 03 2 1 -----------> 0 0 1that would say the vectors are linearly independenta row of zeros tells you they are linearly dependent
