Feb 13, 2010 - This was the first song I learned to sing and play. 40 years, wow. I might do a little ditty of it tonight. .

Feb 25, 2010 - This song is so beautiful, and Neil Young makes it even better! The whole Massey Hall concert is amazing, one of the best performances ever!

jackaroe2293 Says:

Mar 3, 2010 - How can Neil "make a song better" if he wrote it. This was no cover song my friend, but rather an example of Neil Young's genius

meals7 Says:

Mar 7, 2010 - now we all know where axle rose knock knock on heavens door came from

foregolf101 Says:

Mar 7, 2010 - Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a Bob Dylan song. But ya, chord progression is pretty much the same.

sneakyassasin Says:

Mar 9, 2010 - Canada, pound for pound produces the greatest artists(leonard cohen, neil young, rush, celine dion, shania twain) and athletes (gretzky, crosby, nash), Winter Olympics = 14 gold medals for us and 9 for the US. Canada is fucking great and their is no doubt about it.

johanmakaveli Says:

Mar 11, 2010 - Can't believe you.... Are you really gonna mess with one of the best songs ever written, by having your stupid fight just beneath it?

JackFknTwist1 Says:

Mar 15, 2010 - It has always been my favourite Neil Young song......"Blue blue windows behind the stars/ Yellow moon on the rise..."

anaphoraglass999 Says:

Mar 16, 2010 - But citizenship is just paperwork. I agree with MEKlett... it doesn't matter which side of the border you're from. Love, love, love Neil Young ever since I was a little girl. Never knew he was Canadian until I moved to Nova Scotia and everyone got up in my face about how ignorant I am for not knowing. Who cares?

LeBuckeye Says:

Mar 20, 2010 - Yea I like Canada it's more relaxed than the states but the USA has better artists and athletes. No doubt about it. Long live Neil

164ItsAllAboutMe164 Says:

Mar 30, 2010 - I think the original chord set is D, A, G, and I'm pretty sure he's playing it on a drop tuned guitar. I play it G, D, C because you can get some pretty nice accents out of the A, D, and G strings on the 2nd fret. I just love this song. Yes, it's very similar to Knockin' on Heaven's Door, but I prefer the desperate painful feelings that Neil's songs produce. Awesome.

johnowensjr1234 Says:

Apr 4, 2010 - try C#, G#, F#....same chord set from the last waltz and it accommodates my voice better

kfc63822 Says:

Apr 8, 2010 - im sorry but bob dylan may be more famous but Neil young puts dylan to shame as far as singer / songwriter & musician

dragonslayer101010 Says:

Apr 10, 2010 - mmmmmmmmmm probably not as a songwriter...
