The internet created a fake quote that sounded good, much like they created a fake Nostradamus quatrain after 9/11. At any rate, celebrating any death is in poor taste. Excuses are being made that the young people celebrating had only known a world shaped by OBL so this affected them differently than most. Or maybe they're just uncouth. I won't run in the streets celebrating a Super Bowl win either

May 9, 2011 - As a former soldier and the husband of a soldier it WAS ghoulish. We were ALL relived, but none of the soldiers where my wife is stationed in Afghanistan right now actually celebrated. For one it's stupid to celebrate someone's death. Two it doesn't actually change anything. Three We fear retaliation against US troops over it. It needed to happen and what ever happens, happens, but it's NOT something to celebrate. Period.
