May 12, 2012 - I am a freak about the blues, and i don't think that all. In fact (delta) blues is simply an. abstract expression in a relatively small confine, thats what the magic of blues is... This is no less expressive by any means, certainly not thought of as "masturbatory" by the majority of us blues freaks. I appreciate this form of guitar about the same as i do the blues... Thats why i'm here listening to this right now.

May 16, 2012 - yeah i hated his sound kinda pissed me off when he was the only one who got a clap for that really fast passage i thought it sounded pretty horrible and paco and mclaughlins solos were much more musical

May 20, 2012 - "You can do so many different things with blues, and not as wide of a range with this. Jazz doesn't mold to ones personality as much. I do understand your point of view"I'm sorry but the thing about Jazz (or improvisation on any genre) that attracts musicians so much is exactly the opposite - being able to play anything, anything at all - the sky's the limit. As much as I love blues, there always seems to be a limit (parameters) to what you can do. 'Feel' more than makes up for it though.

May 20, 2012 - I'm sorry Carehuea, you have misunderstood my comment. I AGREE that this is a free and wonderfully expressive form of guitar playing. In fact i own "A Night In San Francisco". I DISAGREE with agamnoth66's statement that "all Blues fans" think that this is "masturbatory"... In other words, we "blues fans" do not "ALL" think that this is masturbatory. Most of us appreciate it, just like you do. ALSO, i never said anything about jazz. This not "jazz guitar", JOE PASS plays jazz.Peace, Carehuea.

May 20, 2012 - Oh sh*t. I replied to the wrong comment. Sorry man.
