May 2, 2012 - Popeye #1 (comic book by IDW Publishing) came out last week. Good stuff. Faithful to E.C. Segar's interpretation of the character as seen in the daily newspaper strips, even right down to the font for word balloons. None of that post-World War II white sailor outfit jazz here, :D
