Mar 21, 2009 - That´s not the original - thats a coverversion played by the "New" Equals -the bassplay is much better on the first edition by the "old" Equals, included the Leader of the Equals - Eddy Grant

Oct 18, 2009 - Yep, Lincoln was a better bassplayer, he worked on, it practicing all the time. If Eddie remembered it was a group they would be joining the Stones and Cliff Richard touring now.If you read this Lincoln sending Love xx

Jan 12, 2011 - That's the main problem when it comes to Equals compilations : many of them are average re-recordings of the songs in the 80s/90s...It's hard to find one with the original 60s/70sversions. Boy, this band rocked. Underrated to this day.

Feb 23, 2011 - I've been trying to find decent collection with original recordings also.

Oct 5, 2011 - I'd recomend looking for the 2 CD Black Skin Blue Eyed Boys...the anthology for a really good compilation. There are 50 songs from 66 to 73 all original versions and it even has a couple of songs that were only released on an e.p in 1968. It was released in 1999 on Sequel Records part of Castle Music.

Jan 16, 2009 - The b-side, The Skies Above, is an underground pyche classic. You should be playing that instead.
