May 19, 2012 - It actually more like this:Chuck Berry gave Marty the idea to play this song, then Marty went back in time and Chuck Berry stole it from him.The song still has no origin, but the movie implies that Chuck Berry is a thief. Think about it, he wouldn't have known that the guy playing the song was a time traveller, so as far as Chuck Berry knew, Marty wrote that song himself, and he just claimed it as his own...I'm not the only one that's noticed this, right?

Chuck Berry wrote the song, then Marty went back in time and Chuck, through the phone, heard it. But he was going to write it. Perhaps this second time he released it some time before.
