Aug 27, 2011 - I strongly disagree because all of the games are good. All the games before EA took over are great, but the ones when EA did take over are even greater. They didn't kill the franchise and anyone who thinks they did just has a grudge against EA for drifting away from the traditional C&C. But, I am completely certain if EA never took over Westwood, the newer games would still be very different than the old ones.C&C 3, Red Alert 3, and Generals are all very good and strategic games

Sep 28, 2011 - The problem with that is, while i agree that C&C3 was pretty decent, Generals is C&C in name only, and C&C4 was an attrocity, it has very little to do with a grudge against EA, i just really don't think C&C 4 was worthy of the title.. and i did enjoy Generals, it just wasn't a C&C game, it was a generic modern war game. :p

Sep 28, 2011 - What's strange in every C&C game except Generals is that you build buildings with buildings, lol! Now, I have yet to play C&C 4. I really don't know what to think of that game, but I enjoy all the rest of the C&C games.I really think judging by the hate that the traditionalists have towards EA's games, I think they are holding a grudge and not keeping an open mind. Red Alert 3 added some amazing new elements to the RTS genre. You can build your base on land and in water too.

Sep 28, 2011 - You'll notice that i didn't disagree with you that RA3 is okey, i think the humor went a bit too far, but it's still a fun game. :)And well, that's just how the C&C style works, allways have.. which is why Generals was so jarring, it was more like playing Age of Empires or Warcraft, construction wise, it was still a decent game, it just didn't seem like a C&C game. And personaly i really really hated C&C 4, but yeah, you'll have to try it yourself of course.

Oct 1, 2011 - Generals wasn't really a generic modern war game, I haven't seen any other Modern RTSs apart from World in Conflict (Which has no base building which I don't like that much) apart from Generals. There's only ever WW2 ones like Company of Heroes or Men of War or Command and Conquer. Also C&C 4 automatically bad without question. WITH. OUT. QUESTION. The ones previous to C&C 4 though I liked a lot.

Oct 12, 2011 - This game was the start from my gaming life at the computer, I begged my father to let me put a CD-ROM in it , a Quad speed for over 100$ back then. Great times, I have never forgot C&C, but those times will never come back im afraid. Westwood rocked.

Nov 10, 2011 - Zero Hour and C&C3 are actually pretty good games.

Nov 18, 2011 - Thanks to EA, it got ruined completely. Too many freaked out weapons, fast style game, shitty music, too many freaky bitches. The only thing which was very good, creative and nice to play, was C&C Generals, which in fact has nothing to do with the C&C series!

Dec 9, 2011 - THIS is the best C&C song. Hell March is so fucking overrated.

Feb 17, 2012 - I will explain why I agree with youoriginal C&C under westwood didnt have cheesy dialog & clinche linesthe unit & structure design was a perfect mix of reality & bit of imaginationthere were special units but they were not overbearing like a B movie

Mar 11, 2012 - you do realize that if it weren't for EA, Westwood would have disappeared MUCH sooner.

May 19, 2012 - Did you forget about Red Alert 1? There was enough cheese being served. But still C&C 3 was pretty good. I think the second one was rushed thanks to EA and the 4th was just killed by EA.
Mirpurmad Says:
May 21, 2012 - totally agreeand yes how can I forget Red Alert one. what C7 C Dawn introduced, Original Red Alert made it even more defined & established it. it was C &C magnified & filled the gaps that C & C dawn missed.by second I guess you mean Tiberium Sun? well for me, by the time EA tag started appearing on this franchise... the Command & Conquer universe was lost to its original fans as we knew it.
