Jan 20, 2012 - It sure looks dangerous, but some risks are seen as acceptable, the same way western society has to accept that cars can take lives. Actually, in Colombia I'd expect the commute to school for kids in the city is probably more risky, due to traffic, than what these kids have to do in terms of the injury rate. That said, some more sophisticated trolleys wouldn't hurt. A trolley that locks around the cable and is equipped with a break costs nothing compared to a bridge.
