Dec 19, 2011 - Believe it or not, this song was composed and recorded for the 1974 spy thriller "The Odessa File" (based on the novel by Frederick Forsyth) which starred Jon Voight and Maximilian Schell. It can be heard during the opening credits as Voight drives around Berlin at Christmas time, 1963. Good movie, BTW.

Jan 3, 2012 - Ulysses. The comment I made about Perry being old and sick at the time of the recording, I learned from an interview with Andrew lloyd webber, who was saying it was an honour for Perry to sing his music. I also said that it was beautifuly sung and all you can pick up on is the fact that it was 1973 and he was not sick, and then call me a moron. The word idiot springs to mind.

The song was written by Mel Leven. The song was originally produced to be sung by Pongo, Perdita, and the puppies. The song begins after the dalmatians escape Cruella and board the van heading for London. The song ends as Cruella catches up to the van.
