Apr 9, 2012 - yep pretty much. You can only ride up to a 125 on L plates though, until you pass your full bike test, which is called DAS

Could you possibly tell me from the very start what i'd need to do to be able to ride a bike legally on the road please if its not too much trouble :D

May 14, 2012 - No problem, 1st Apply for your provisional licence2nd Find a training school near you, and they'll sort out the rest. At 18 you'll do the 125 CBT, so will able to ride up to 125cc bike. Id suggest a geared one, rather than moped style. They're faster, funner, and easier to keep up with traffic.
