Mar 15, 2012 - ABBA's not a rock band? Well, yes and no. I mean, no they weren't strictly a rock band, but also yes, because they had several rock songs. Try these on: Mamma Mia, Does Your Mother Know, Tiger, Hole In Your Soul, Rock Me, etc.All of these tracks could be called rock songs.My point is: Should you HAVE to be a rock band and NOTHING else to be allowed to inducted, or couldn't it be enough if you have a band that does it all, rock included?Anyway, it's about time they joined the club!

Apr 19, 2012 - Rush is a 3 peice band out of Toronto, Canada. They kick ass! When their time comes, and it will, they will be in the hall as well. ABBA, should have been put in 10 years ago. They left us a fantastic archive of music to enjoy and by the responses here, are still very popular 30 years later.

Apr 22, 2012 - Abba was in the 70's mostly a Pop/Rock band, with so much guitars, fast drums and piano. They only have one disco record (Voulez-Vous 1979) and one random disco song (Dancing Queen). In the 80's they went more Pop and Synthpop
