May 19, 2012 - No, most older games weren't hard because of "skill." They were hard because of unreasonable things like glitches, poor controls, lack of instructions, confusion, excessive amounts of "hazards," etc... A recent example of a game like this could be Prototype. On some levels in the game, there are just massive clusters of enemies with bs abilities that make the game nearly impossible. A game being difficult is different than a game being poorly made.

Sawsers Says:

May 19, 2012 - Lol you sound like a dumb kid that is trying to be "cool" and "accepted" by all those "hardcore retro gamers"

itw98 Says:

May 20, 2012 - and you have to be a bit fair, there are a lot of hardcore gamers today. Old school games aren't the same as new games, if a gamer from the older days of gaming played a new game with actually difficulty, you'd lose, on top of newer gamers ofter seeking more games in the classics, many of us are too good.

OKKWAMOS Says:

May 20, 2012 - In case you didn't notice, I quoted doom :)

dsdface Says:

kino5831 Says:

May 22, 2012 - have you ever played ninja gaiden on the xbox and x360?

BenDavidBen Says:

May 22, 2012 - hey do some xbox games also

Tyler Hamilton Says:

May 22, 2012 - Has LJN ever made a good game?

MegaZeroBlues Says:

May 23, 2012 - I had this game as a kid. I never understood why it was so fucking sadistic. LJN. My childhood makes sense now.

10INTM Says:

May 23, 2012 - When I was in kindergarten, a second grade neighbor gave me this game as a gift. I guess he didn't like me that much. I still managed to enjoy the damn thing after figuring out how to effectively play it.

10INTM Says:

May 23, 2012 - The game gets incredibly easy when you realize that punching kills enemies without fail when they're in midair.

itw98 Says:

May 23, 2012 - but I did beet Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde easy, and I'm 14. AVGN, bitch please.

LuwiigiMaster Says:

May 24, 2012 - Technically, LJN was just a publisher, they did no in-house development of their games. A good number of their games were developed by Japanese programmers, and fittingly enough, those games were never released in Japan. The gold box, "Enteractive Video Games" LJN games, I'm afraid, are probably the best of their games. The new, Acclaim owned LJN had more mediocre titles than ever before, officially being qualified as Shovelware.

OKKWAMOS Says:

May 24, 2012 - But you still can't spell Jekyll or Beat right

itw98 Says:

May 24, 2012 - I was in a rush damn it. Anyway, I'm just gonna end it here.

ravechankuran Says:

RedTyrant2 Says:

May 27, 2012 - I thought he would toss it in the air and karate punch it to pieces. XD
