Apr 8, 2012 - Well, no way to know but there are a tremendous amount of talented musicians and drummers who break away and try to form bands or solo gigs and just don't stack up to when they were in a "band" the magnatude of Journey. The front man usually makes the band their career. Steve moved the needle in the 80's/90's for Journey. Journey lovers never ignored Schon's velvet touch or Ross's driving thump. We just appreciated the total package. Again, Steve made it happen for the band.

May 19, 2012 - I'm kind of sick of all the comments that saying that we beat up on Arnel for not being Steve. He's simply not as good as Steve Perry. That's not mean, it is just a fact. Guess what, history shows that most rock singers are not. After all these years Steve stands behind Freddie Mercury as greatest rock vocalist. Yes, some put others up there like Robert Plant, etc. But Arnel Pineda is not one of them. We don't need to rewrite history just to spare someone's feelings.
