Title: Sodium and Water in a 40 gallon trash can
Added: Jun 6, 2008
Author: ProjectEpiphany
Duration: 1:0
Description:
Sodium and water mix violently and boom in trash can. We added mass to the Na because it typically floats. Na does a do-se-do with water and yields NaOH. The free Hydrogen ignites in the exothermic reaction's heat. Definitely worth donating my trash can to science.

Apr 12, 2012 - Sodium and Chlorine mixed together creates Sodium Chloride, AKA salt, salt and water mixed together is like salt water, like what the sea is made of.
