Jul 3, 2011 - I loved Cyd Charisse - and this was my favorite dance scene from the movie. Made it even better that Sammy Davis narrated/sang! See the whole movie sometime ("Meet Me in Las Vegas"). It's a fanciful view of Vegas in the 50's.

Sep 17, 2011 - Sorry revolver only has six you idiot.
JimBeattie Says:
Sep 18, 2011 - There is no need for personal abuse, which I consider you have done, calling a person an idiot. If you called someone that face to face in the UK you would end up with a bloody nose.I'm not an expert on firearms, but I gather that the old fashioned gun slingers kept an extra bullet in the barrel, which with the six in the revolver meant they could fire seven shots before reloading.

barliman2001 Says:
Oct 6, 2011 - Don't forget that smallbore revolvers can pack up to ten cartridges and that some .32 models were seven-shot.

Dec 2, 2011 - I realize that. That's why I said I love it. I thought it was funny. I only noticed it because this is my favorite number from the film and I've watched it dozens of times.

Feb 26, 2012 - Man, if Cyd Charisse hadn't existed it would have been necessary to invent her.

Mar 17, 2012 - Bravo for you Jim! I agree. People who insult each other over the internet are just cowards hiding behind anonymity and impossibility of physical contact. We can respectfully disagree and say why but personal insults for honest differences of opinion are inane and nonconstructive.
