I have them on audio now (can't read print, even large print b/c of vision probs - even vids are lost for me on bad-eye days, which are b/coming more as time goes by... Having said that, I realize the series is pushing Stefan/Elena together; hwr, nobody can miss or deny the fact that deep down Damon wants to be a better person because of Elena.

Also, it's not like she will be taking any risks by being with him since she's already a vampire; but she'll still have the bit of danger she needs by staying with him.
